Staff Registered Nurse RN MICU Medical Intensive Care Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU team in Temple, Texas.
Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 23-bed Medical ICU. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans, prioritize patient needs, and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop care plans that address patient needs
- Prioritize patient and family needs, creating a safe and supportive environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based care and achieve desired outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid nursing license
- 1 year of recent ICU RN experience required
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
