Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Care Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Transitional Care Unit at Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX.

The Transitional Care Unit at Memorial Hospital is a 10-bed nursing unit that provides fast-paced and challenging care to patients with a variety of needs. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple patients, diagnose, monitor, and treat them within 36 hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve patient goals
  • Monitor and treat patients with conditions such as chest pain, CHF, syncope, dehydration, and abdominal-gastrointestinal conditions
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
