About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the dining areas and kitchen
  • Supervise and train culinary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Manage food and supply expenses to budget or forecast
  • Plan and implement marketing events and programs to promote our culinary services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and maintain quality, objective, and standards for food service operations
  • Prepare and present regular reports to the Executive Director on food service operations and financial performance
  • Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate

Requirements:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in food production/management
  • Must have a Serve Safe certification or become certified within 90 days of hire date
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation procedures, proper dining room service etiquette, and related Health Department regulations and guidelines
