Director of Cardiopulmonary Services

Job Summary:
As the RN Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehab, you will be responsible for leading and managing the technical, fiscal, and administrative activities of Cardiopulmonary and Neuro-diagnostic Services. This role requires a strong understanding of hospital policies, College of American Pathologists standards, JCAHO, and local, state, and federal regulations.
You will establish policies and procedures to meet these standards and ensure that all individuals in the department are competent to deliver care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the technical, fiscal, and administrative activities of Cardiopulmonary and Neuro-diagnostic Services
- Establish policies and procedures to meet hospital standards and regulations
- Ensure competency of staff in delivering care to patients of all ages
- Manage and coordinate the department's activities to ensure efficient and effective care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Respiratory Care
- 2 years' experience in management or supervision
- Current Florida License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
