About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team at Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC. As a Material Planner, you will play a critical role in managing material schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own schedule management for assigned categories and manage exceptions generated by MRP
  • Incorporate MRP recommendations
  • Perform clear to build assessments on production work orders
  • Assist in managing shortages and floor scrap replacement
  • Monitor schedule performance of production work order adherence
  • Periodic review of order modifiers like fixed order quantity, fixed lot multiplier
  • Continuous improvement to reorder points to improve results of stock availability
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Influence supplier investments in continuous improvement to improve results at continually lower costs and risks
  • Prepare and provide data-driven reviews to management with a focus on optimizing the supply chain for performance
  • Create SOPs to manage transaction processing
  • Engage in short, medium, and long-range planning activities to provide consistency in services
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in industry and/or academia
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain operations
  • 2+ years of experience in SAP (S4Hanna)
  • 2+ years of experience with inventory management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills
  • Curious to learn in-depth about both technology and our customers
  • A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone
