Impact You Will Have:

As a mobile imaging technologist, your responsibilities will include:

Utilizing a company vehicle outfitted with a compact, portable x-ray system (DR) to travel locally and perform x-ray examinations on patients across various facilities throughout your shift, catering to diverse patient demographics including adults, seniors, women, and children.

You will also conduct EKGs, Holter Monitor assessments, and Pace Maker evaluations.

Your Responsibilities:
Your daily activities as a mobile imaging technologist will encompass:

Traveling by vehicle to conduct portable x-ray and EKG examinations in a range of environments, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential properties, and other patient locations.

Assessing appropriate electronic and technical parameters based on patient requirements.
Adhering to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
Preparing precise physician and patient orders and transmitting results as necessary in a timely manner.
Setting, adjusting, and operating various electronic devices to capture diagnostic images, including EKGs and Holter Monitors.
Ensuring that equipment is available and functioning properly (in the vehicle) before and after each shift.

Assisting with order processing, validation of studies, communication with interpreting radiologists, customer follow-ups, and other administrative and support tasks as directed.


Qualifications:
Must meet all state-specific and federal criteria to perform portable x-ray examinations, including one or more of the following:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
Limited Scope X-ray Operator —

in accordance with

State-specific regulations
State x-ray license (if applicable)

Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license and

maintaining

a clean driving

record
Capability to

move

or lift

equipment

up

to 50 pounds
Ability to navigate stairs easily while carrying equipment.
