As a Clinical Nurse on our Medical Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including Neuro-Surgical and ENT patients, and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families with complex needs, ranging from uncomplicated to highly complex.
  • Identify current and potential problems of specific patient populations and critically analyze trends and changes in patient status, planning appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the District of Columbia.
  • Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Prior clinical nursing experience preferred, but not required.
