Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Trainer to join our team at Jobot. As a Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, training clients on OSHA and DOT requirements, and conducting safety audits and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Train clients on safety procedures and protocols
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement claims tracking and reporting systems
  • Perform safety and hazard analysis to identify needs and assess risk
  • Complete annual compliance and business platform audits
  • Export and analyze platform utilization reports to improve utilization
  • Review telematics reports and make recommendations for improvement
  • Develop discipline and incentive programs to address jobsite and vehicle safety concerns
Requirements
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement, monitor, and adjust in an independent work environment
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and training
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients, coworkers, and diverse populations
  • Ability to gather data, compile and analyze information, and prepare reports
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Possess or obtain certification to train in OSHA & DOT within 90 days of hire
  • Trained in The Wedge sales process within 90 days of hire
  • Attend the Wedge Sales Training within 6 months of hire
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in the company's management software (EPIC)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in account management, training, and/or commercial insurance
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures
  • Experience with Bignition software a plus
