Job Summary:
Rose International is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in implementing and monitoring company environmental safety programs and policies
* Maintain safety equipment inventory and perform periodic safety inspections
* Monitor hazardous waste removal vendors and assist in consolidating hazardous wastes
* Conduct training in emergency response and hazardous material handling
* Monitor environmental compliance and maintain liaison with regulatory agencies
* Recommend corrective action where environmental health and safety hazards exist
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) roles
* Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
* Experience performing safety inspections, maintaining safety equipment, and managing hazardous waste removal
