Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Methodist Hospitals. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
  • Document patient progress and interventions accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Evaluate patients' upper extremity function and ability to perform daily living activities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case reviews to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and occupational therapy students as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
