We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at PDS Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling Company Culture: Demonstrate a warm and approachable demeanor to each patient, consistently providing a Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and creating Patients for Life (PFL).
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments that result in each healthcare provider having a smooth, productive day.
  • Front Office Operations: Ensure that all tasks on the front office checklist are completed daily, including posting payments to patient accounts in accordance with Company policies.
  • Patient Communication: Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time, answering telephones in a timely manner and handling all calls with efficiency and thoroughness.
  • Practice Management System: Subject Matter Expert in practice management system with regards to patient registration, e-check in, ensuring account information is accurate and up to date for each visit.
  • Team Collaboration: Active participant in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and any other meetings as required.
  • Business Acumen: Thorough understanding of business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics.
  • Professional Development: Become knowledgeable and support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Compliance: Ensure Compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business.
