The successful candidate will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and other guestroom items.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
• Ensure all work performed is conducted in a safe and timely manner, adhering to standards of safety and effective equipment utilization.
Requirements:
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Trade-related certifications, such as HVAC and electrical, are preferred.
• Hospitality, healthcare, or related industry experience is required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
• Valid driver's license.
