Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Position

The 36th District Court is seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate records.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with our court staff to ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems and provide exceptional service to our litigants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Processes financial transactions, including receipting and depositing funds
  2. Reconciles financial accounts daily, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  3. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  4. Provides exceptional customer service to litigants and court staff
  5. Collaborates with court staff to resolve financial issues and ensure compliance with court policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial transactions or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in financial software and equipment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
