Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Detroit Land Bank Authority team as a Closing Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating successful real estate transactions.

About the Position

The Closing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and managing the real estate closing process for various DLBA programs. This includes scheduling closings, preparing documents, and ensuring all parties are aligned for a smooth transaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate closings and manage pipelines of buyers.
  • Prepare closing documents and review conditions and terms.
  • Ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the transaction process.
  • Identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the closing process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate transactions, title, or escrow processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
