Financial Statement Auditor

This role involves working as part of a team to conduct financial statement audits, ensuring accuracy and reliability of client financial information while upholding objectivity and independence. As an Audit Intern, you will develop an understanding of client-specific risks through review of financial results, external information, business trends, and transactions primarily for Japanese clients or non-Japanese companies that need strategic assistance in Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial statement audits and serve the capital markets by helping ensure accuracy and reliability of client financial information
  • Develop an understanding of client-specific risks through review of financial results, external information, business trends, and transactions
  • Prepare clear and well-structured audit documentation regarding client processes and technology systems
  • Execute and document testing of client controls and financial statement account balances using appropriate standards and terminology
  • Support the execution of high-quality audits through performance of assigned tasks and professional client and engagement team interactions
  • Support the use of Data and Analytics (D&A) in the audit, including data extraction and analysis, utilizing technologies such as AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Power BI
