Job Summary:

As a Kafka Solutions Architect at Eateam, you will be responsible for driving architecture and design discussions with product teams to provide the best solution for their requirements. You will provide guidance, Kafka expertise, troubleshoot issues, and provide best practices to product teams for implementing event-driven integration. Additionally, you will function as a mentor/evangelist to the product teams to build champions and provide technical guidance. You will identify areas of opportunity for continued automation and provide roadmaps for continuous improvement, with a focus towards enabling users through template-driven development, accelerators, and foundational frameworks. You will also conduct POCs for new design patterns or connectivity with new applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive architecture and design discussions with product teams to provide the best solution for their requirements.
• Provide guidance, Kafka expertise, troubleshoot issues, and provide best practices to product teams for implementing event-driven integration.
• Function as a mentor/evangelist to the product teams to build champions and provide technical guidance.
• Identify areas of opportunity for continued automation and provide roadmaps for continuous improvement, with a focus towards enabling users through template-driven development, accelerators, and foundational frameworks.
• Conduct POCs for new design patterns or connectivity with new applications.

Requirements:
• Subject matter expert in Streaming and Event Driven Architecture for Applications with a focus on application integration.
• Hands-on experience with Confluent cloud, building stream processors (KStreams), self-managed connectors through CFK, enforcing schema validation/registry, Flink & KSQL.
• Experience in implementing event-driven integrations with SaaS applications (like Salesforce, Ariba), Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), COTS (SAP, Oracle Apps etc), web-based applications & legacy systems.
• Implementation of Kafka for Digital Factory (I4.0) is preferred.
• Understanding of data mesh principles, ability to design decoupled integrations.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure is preferred).
• CI/CD experience using Terraform deployments.
• Technical Skills - Confluent Cloud, Kafka architecture, SQL, Java, Python, Azure Cloud Architecture.
