Position Overview
A prominent geotechnical design and construction firm in North America is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer. This role is pivotal in our mission to deliver innovative and effective solutions for complex construction challenges.

Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will collaborate with a talented team of engineers to devise optimal solutions that encompass a variety of intricate projects, including:
- Underpinning systems
- Deep foundation design
- Earth retention strategies
- Slope stabilization techniques
- Landslide remediation
- Ground improvement methodologies

This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your engineering skills in a hands-on construction environment while enhancing your technical capabilities.

Key Duties Include:
- Supporting the estimating team during bid preparations
- Creating detailed design drawings for construction projects
- Assisting project managers throughout the construction phase

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master’s Degree in Geotechnical or Structural Engineering is preferred
- 8 to 15 years of experience in geotechnical and/or geostructural engineering, with a focus on ground improvement design
- Experience in geotechnical design-build projects is advantageous
- Familiarity with geotechnical seismic design is a plus
- A strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and excellent communication skills
- A valid professional engineering license
- Proficiency in Excel, Mathcad, and a working knowledge of AutoCAD

Additionally, experience with advanced software tools such as CT-Shoring, DeepEx, LPile, Settle 3D, Group, GeoStudio, and Plaxis is beneficial.
