GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our avionics design team, you will be responsible for architecting complex digital hardware systems, including digital and analog components. Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect moderately complex avionic computer hardware systems
  • Maintain specialized knowledge in semiconductor processors, System-on-Chip, and FPGA component architectures
  • Participate in hardware design architectural trade studies, reviews, and proposals
  • Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in hardware design, manufacturing, or technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of professional experience in design
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Strong professional technical writing and technical communication proficiency
  • Ability to break down complex problems and apply critical thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of professional experience in digital design
  • Proven history of architecting complex digital hardware
  • Knowledge of board level digital design process from schematic capture, implementation, integration, and verification
