Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Coordination: Act as the primary contact for patients and referring physicians, ensuring all necessary information is gathered for optimal service delivery.
2. Surgical Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of surgical procedures, coordinating with surgeons and operating room staff to ensure all requirements are met.
3. Software Proficiency: Utilize various software applications, including Epic, to manage patient scheduling effectively and maintain high productivity standards.
4. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with management to support other outpatient services and enhance operational efficiency.
5. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service by adhering to the Health System Standards of Professional Behavior, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
6. Additional Duties: Participate in training initiatives and assist in the development of procedural improvements.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years in a customer service role, ideally within a healthcare setting with high call volumes.
Special Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in medical terminology are essential. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and the capacity to train others.
