Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing primary cleaning operations using air to blow abrasive media from blasted parts
  • Gathering parts from the blaster
  • Pulling parts from the oven
  • Cross-training on various tasks and processes
  • Assisting colleagues as needed
  • Ensuring adherence to ISO regulations for all quotes, orders, revisions, and correspondence
  • Maintaining market and customer data for easy access and understanding
  • Interacting professionally and effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Production staff
Safety Requirements and Physical Demands

The following safety requirements and physical demands are essential for this role:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Reading, seeing, hearing, and speaking English
  • Frequent physical exertion, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Operating equipment such as cranes and forklifts
  • Working in a warehouse and fabrication shop setting with exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises
  • Limited exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme temperatures
  • Using various tools, including hand tools, saws, grinders, mills, lathes, electrostatic paint guns, and powder guns
  • Wearing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed boots
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Related experience preferred
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Flexibility in working hours as required by workload and communication demands
  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • The ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
