Position Overview:

Trinity Health is a prominent Catholic healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our communities. We are seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator who embodies our core values of compassion, integrity, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to diverse groups including applicants, students, families, and staff regarding financial aid policies and procedures.
  • Conduct financial aid verification and perform calculations and data entry to assess financial aid eligibility.
  • Assist prospective and current students in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other necessary financial aid forms.
  • Support management in reviewing enrollment histories, financial aid eligibility, award calculations, and internal reporting processes.
  • Prepare for new student orientation by evaluating student statuses and organizing relevant information for students and staff.
  • Handle inquiries through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person visits, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a detailed environment, particularly in data entry and analysis.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and early evenings.
  • Experience with student information systems is preferred.
  • Prior experience in financial aid or higher education settings is advantageous.
