Addison Group is seeking a Departmental Support Lead to join our team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

The Departmental Support Lead will be responsible for acting as a liaison with departments, staff, students, and external organizations, and for administering and coordinating departmental activities, office services, and team workflows to ensure efficient department operations. This role involves performing administrative support tasks, developing and implementing office procedures, and making decisions based on existing policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PC applications like Word and Excel, effective teamwork and independent work capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison with departments, staff, students, and external organizations.
  • Administer and coordinate departmental activities, office services, and team workflows.
  • Develop and implement office procedures, schedules, and meetings.
  • Draft and format correspondence, respond to inquiries, and ensure adherence to department policies.
  • Monitor and manage budgetary and financial tasks.
  • Support the Controller's office with administrative operations, special projects, and program functions.
  • Maintain office systems (e.g., copiers, computers, phones) and manage timely supply orders.
  • Manage travel requisitions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience, or eight (8) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
