Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bar Support Specialist to join our team at Professional Hospitality Resources, Inc. and Ocean Beach Club LLC. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Inventory Management: Maintain pars of supplies at the bar by stocking ice, paper products, to-go cups, glassware, china, and other essential items.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Keep bartenders informed of items to be ordered, anticipate business needs, and respond to requests for assistance and priorities.
  • Customer Service: Acknowledge guests, relate orders to bartenders, and provide a friendly and professional experience.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain bar equipment, including blenders and other appliances.
  • Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, storage, and trash disposal.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with clearing the bar, rotating stock, and completing assigned sidework.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, both speaking and understanding English.
  • Attention to Detail: Display speed, accuracy, attention to detail, courtesy, and anticipation of guests' needs.
  • Physical Demands: Be in good physical condition, able to bend, reach overhead, and lift 100 pounds.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a mid-to-high volume outlet.
  • Education: High school diploma required.
