Position Summary:

As a Cook Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations, working collaboratively under the guidance of the Food Services Manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage production/service documentation for each meal.
  • Extend recipes to meet the dietary needs of the facility population.
  • Conduct orientation and training programs for inmate workers.
  • Implement and uphold sanitation and safety protocols across all departmental areas.
  • Assist in fostering positive client relations under the direction of the Food Service Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; college credits or technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in managing or quantity food production in a commercial, military, or institutional setting.
  • Familiarity with the facility's recipes, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.

Compensation:

The base compensation for this position is $16.49 per hour.
