POSITION OVERVIEW

The Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating business processes and requirements to facilitate the development and deployment of Business Intelligence solutions. This position will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to collect and document comprehensive business requirements, ensuring that functional and design initiatives align with business needs. The analyst will also assist in investigating and resolving production support challenges as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and document detailed business requirements to support capability requests from various business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to guarantee that functional and design initiatives meet business requirements.
  • Develop data mapping documents, including Source-to-Target mappings.
  • Create high-level process flow diagrams.
  • Draft User Stories in Azure DevOps.
  • Engage in software development lifecycle activities related to business intelligence.
  • Support production activities for BI systems, including incident management duties.
  • Participate in testing processes to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Business or Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical business analyst.
  • 5+ years of proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as MS T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps boards and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reports is preferred but not mandatory.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days in-office attendance each week.
