Position Overview:
Oiarad is in search of a dedicated and compassionate Breast Imaging Specialist II to enhance our dynamic and patient-centered team. If you have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and enjoy engaging with individuals, this part-time role may be the perfect fit for you.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Radiology Medical Director, the Breast Imaging Specialist:
- May act as a lead technologist for a designated shift.
- Provides mentorship and guidance to fellow imaging technologists.
- Conducts breast imaging procedures and related techniques, generating data for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
- Ensures that all services are delivered in a safe environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with the imaging center team to seek and provide feedback for enhanced clinical practices.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.

Licensure/Certification:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, with current registration.
- Advanced registration in Mammography through ARRT is required.
- Compliance with state licensure requirements and BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in operating Mammography equipment and related ancillary devices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capable of providing accurate and concise documentation.
- Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with computer applications, including information systems and digital archiving.
