Job Title: Operations Manager

Five Star Parks and Attractions is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the center, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate functional managers
  • Exemplify the core value philosophy to all subordinates
  • Build a culture centered around the core values throughout the facility
  • Maintain an open-door policy
  • Co-Lead weekly Ops L10 with GM
  • Address and resolve all guest issues personally or given to GM if major issue
  • Work with GM to achieve year over year growth and profitability
  • Hold GSM's accountable for providing great guest service & upholding core values
  • Schedule GSA's 2 weeks in advance
  • Ensure all Jolt checklists are being done on time and done correctly by all team members
  • Get monthly reports together for the accountants
  • Maintain team member personnel files, forms, and records
  • Establish sites goals and develop efforts to ensure that goals are met or exceeded
  • Coordinate facility & building maintenance
Financial Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that deposits are made in a timely manner
  • Take responsibility for all daily cash deposits
  • Submit all required payroll records
  • Meet or exceed financial goals set by team
  • Create loss prevention measures
  • Develop new ways to increase revenue and average spend per guest
  • Manage cost for all aspects in facility including labor & goods sold
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all Team Members comply with health and safety rules and regulations
  • Implement and document required safety programs
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 2 years of management experience in the field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office Professional, and willingness to learn new software platforms such as out POS system, party booking software and scheduling
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, guests, and the public
