Career Development Specialist

At Chicago State University, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to students in their career development journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions to help students identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
- Develop and implement career development programs and workshops to enhance students' employability skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development into the curriculum and provide career-related resources and support.
- Provide career assessments and guidance to students, including resume and cover letter review, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in career development and education.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in career counseling or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
