Key Responsibilities

• Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries

• Verifying patient benefits and educating patients about their benefits

• Scheduling and managing appointments

• Filing insurance claims and following up on outstanding claims

• Reviewing treatment plan fees, payment options, and handling inquiries while ensuring a positive patient experience

• Utilizing Dentrix and Dental Writer Plus for patient scheduling and records

• Posting insurance and patient payments

• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of dental sleep medicine terminology to facilitate effective communication

• Assisting in maintaining precise and organized patient records by accurately interpreting and transcribing dental sleep medicine terminology

• Staying updated on evolving dental sleep medicine terminology, codes, and industry standards to enhance your knowledge and contribute to the team's proficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail for documentation

Preferred Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a medical setting

• 1+ years of experience with medical insurance billing
