POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of both new and refurbished products, including equipment and tools.

· Address customer feedback, inquiries, and issues promptly and effectively.

· Provide sales assistance, ensuring that customers are well-informed about all job-related aspects. Complete necessary documentation such as Field Service Orders (FSO) and Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT), ensuring timely submission of these and other revenue-related documents.

· Communicate all quality concerns and documentation regarding equipment and procedural defects back to the Service Management team.

· Document field activities upon completion of each service assignment.

· Manage projects as needed and address any project-related challenges that arise.

· Prepare and complete safety training, documentation, and procedures.

· Adhere to safe work practices at all times.

· May provide mentorship or training to less experienced team members and customers both in the field and in training sessions.

· Be available for emergency assistance to customers at any time, including holidays, with the exception of personal vacation.

· Offer technical support via phone and email to customers, distributors, and sales offices. Follow up on customer inquiries and unresolved issues.

· Prioritize tasks and establish schedules for oneself and others as necessary.

· Assist in prioritizing repair activities, incoming materials, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Engage in the repair of Meter products (e.g., meters, valves, presets, electronic instrumentation, etc.), calibration of electronic and mechanical devices, and refurbishment of electrical and mechanical products.

· Maintain accurate repair reports and attendance records.

· Assist with calibration activities for all equipment submitted for certification.

· Ensure tools and testing equipment are maintained for diagnosing and repairing Meter products.

· Execute the installation and commissioning of new systems or upgrades as required.

· Develop and document departmental processing procedures.

· Provide recommendations for product improvements to supervisors, engineering, and manufacturing personnel as identified.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives.

· Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to multitask and complete any assigned projects or tasks from the department supervisor.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Exposure to typical manufacturing shop and office conditions. The majority of work time is spent in the field at client sites, including various industrial facilities. Potential hazards include chemical exposure, high noise levels, heavy machinery, and inclement weather, necessitating the use of safety equipment. Frequent international travel may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Daily use of personal computers and technical manuals. Frequent use of mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools. Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing, and climbing, along with after-hours support and occasional after-hours call-outs. Regular use of mechanical tools, air tools, testing equipment, cranes, lifting, and rigging is expected. Must be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
