We are seeking a highly skilled Production Shift Supervisor to join our team at Arxada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Housekeeping and EHS Initiatives: Conduct regular housekeeping inspections to maintain high standards and lead EHS initiatives, including inspections, safety observation programs, and risk assessments.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure quality and GMP compliance by enforcing standards, coaching, and training employees. Resolve identified issues and support customer complaints.
- Maintenance and Operations: Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and issuing safe work permits. Ensure daily production schedules are met and work force headcounts are aligned to meet workload demands.
- Performance Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, taking appropriate action when necessary. Oversee new hire training and ongoing training/competence of existing employees.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. 5-10 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: Computer skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to pass pulmonary and full face respiratory fit testing requirements.
