Job Summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process, ensuring a safe work environment, and meeting customer demands while staying within established cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion health and safety, environment, and 6S programs
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Quality to eliminate waste and improve process capability
  • Use continuous improvement tools and methodologies to troubleshoot recurring issues and eliminate root-cause process failures
  • Assure availability of all resources necessary to operate the value stream, including adequate labor, technical and maintenance resources, and all other required direct support
  • Coordinate with Production Control and associates, schedule sequencing and load leveling in the cells
Requirements
  • Results driven with a demonstrated ability to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate, communicate and lead continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • Solid planning, organization, and administrative skills
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 Years of leadership experience
  • Greenbelt certification desired
  • Manufacturing management experience, preferably in a team-based environment a plus
