Production Manager

About the Role:
Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead the charge in creating a work environment that prioritizes the safety of all employees.
As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products that are delivered on time to customers within established cost targets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process of the value stream, effectively utilizing materials, labor, and equipment to meet the business plan while ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production team to achieve operational efficiency and quality targets
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to eliminate waste and improve process capability
- Coordinate with Production Control and associates to schedule sequencing and load leveling in the cells
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment
- Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Solid planning, organization, and administrative skills
- Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
- Manufacturing management experience, preferably in a team-based environment
