The Employment Services Advisor plays a crucial role in our mission to empower individuals and families. This position is part of our Workforce Development Team, focusing on assisting participants in their journey towards securing and maintaining sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with participants to facilitate their search for and retention of competitive job opportunities.
- Support participants in creating and executing assessments and plans tailored to their training and employment needs.
- Organize and lead weekly Career Clubs and Quarterly Career Fairs to enhance job readiness.
- Coordinate job shadowing and tours to provide real-world insights into various careers.
- Instruct pre-employment and employability skills as part of our training programs.
- Assist participants in developing resumes and preparing for interviews, including conducting mock interviews.

Ongoing Support
- Maintain regular communication with participants and employers to monitor job status and address any challenges.
- Identify potential corporate partners through networking efforts.
- Collaborate with the Workforce Development Manager to assist participants in meeting training certification requirements.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Preferred experience in workforce development training.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
- Proficient in utilizing various online platforms for educational outreach.
- Competent in computer skills, including MS Office and databases.
