Trumbull Corporation is seeking a skilled Foreman to lead our Heavy Civil/Highway Construction team in the Erie, Pennsylvania region.

Job Responsibilities:

Preview project limits and readiness for start-up, determining project scope and set-up requirements for traffic control, equipment, trucks, and materials. Coordinate and monitor daily production, supervising and organizing crew members and equipment. Ensure all tasks are completed to contract specifications and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of foreman experience on highway/roadway construction projects, including project layout and set-up, scheduling of manpower, equipment, and materials
  • Demonstrate decision-making skills, ability to manage, supervise, schedule, and delegate directions to a crew
  • Ability to read and follow plans and DOT specifications
  • Computer skills preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other job-related software
  • A professional work ethic and attitude, with good communication skills for effective communication with project owners, inspectors, and subcontractors
  • Willingness to travel, work various shifts, and follow company safety policies and procedures
