Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Foreman to lead our Utilities, Drainage and Grading Foremen team. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for previewing project limits, determining project scope, and setting up requirements for traffic control, equipment, trucks, and materials. You will also coordinate and monitor daily production, supervise and organize crew members, and ensure all tasks are completed to contract specifications.

The primary function of this role is to oversee the daily operations of our construction projects. This includes:
- Previewing project limits and determining project scope
- Setting up requirements for traffic control, equipment, trucks, and materials
- Coordinating and monitoring daily production
- Supervising and organizing crew members
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to contract specifications
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman on highway/roadway construction projects. Our ideal candidate will have experience in project layout and set-up, scheduling of manpower, equipment, and materials, and knowledge of subgrade preparation, water, sanitary, and storm drainage pipe installation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of Foreman experience on highway/roadway construction projects
- Experience in project layout and set-up, scheduling of manpower, equipment, and materials
- Knowledge of subgrade preparation, water, sanitary, and storm drainage pipe installation
- Decision-making skills, the ability to manage, supervise, schedule, and delegate directions to a crew
- The ability to read and follow plans and DOT specifications
- Computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other job-related software
- A professional work ethic and attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to travel, work various shifts, and follow all company safety policies and procedures

Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Location
This role is based in Erie, Pennsylvania, and may require travel to other locations within the region.
