Progressive Cardiac Nursing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Progressive Cardiac Nursing Specialist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a specialist in this role, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients in our progressive cardiac unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with complex medical conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in cardiac nursing

Required Skills:

  • Current RN licensure in Ohio
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a progressive care or ICU setting
  • ACLS certification
  • NIH stroke certification
