Key Responsibilities- Navigate ambulances to patient locations and provide stabilization of the scene as needed.
- Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury and patient history from available sources.
- Administer emergency medical care within scope of practice, including patient stabilization, monitoring, and resuscitation, from the scene to receiving medical facilities.
- Contacts medical personnel, reports/records observations, and follows directives.
- Maintains equipment, restocks supplies, and cleans ambulances as necessary.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- National Certification as determined at position level.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- Current State Licensure as an EMT-P.
- Valid Driver's License.
