Administrative Specialist, HGTC

Coastal Carolina University is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Specialist to join our team in the Public Safety Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative duties, including answering phone calls, dispatching officers, preparing citation appeals, and providing information to students, faculty, and staff regarding parking regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact successfully within a diverse academic community. A working knowledge of Datatel and Microsoft Office applications is also required. Preferably, the candidate will have knowledge of Lawtrak and NCIC database applications.
The Administrative Specialist will be responsible for issuing parking decals for HGTC campuses, providing exceptional customer service to all constituents, and compiling information from all campuses into a weekly activity report. The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between HGTC Public Safety and all satellite offices.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of relevant job experience. Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
