Job Summary

As a Client Services Specialist at Ascensus, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client experiences by resolving retirement plan sponsor or client requests and issues. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to internal and external inquiries, escalating issues per departmental protocol, and acting as a liaison internally with regard to sponsor or client requests.

Essential Functions
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries (via phone and/or email) with clarity, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Elevate issues according to established protocols.
  • Effectively communicate complex information with confidence.
  • Act as a liaison internally to address sponsor or client requests.
  • Make outbound calls to resolve sponsor or client requests when additional research is required.
  • Support special projects and collaborate with other employees as needed.
  • Train colleagues as necessary.
  • Ensure regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
Preferred Education or Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of retirement plan administration.
  • Experience with the DST platform is a plus.
  • ASPPA certification.
