Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as needed.
- Coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to minimize equipment downtime.
- Order and install necessary parts.
- Respond to urgent service requests as required.
- Provide training to customer technicians on system operation and maintenance.
- Implement upgrades and modifications to equipment as necessary.
- Stay updated on equipment and tools through training and relevant materials.
- Responsible for the maintenance and security of company assets, including vehicles and tools.
- Adhere to conduct standards acceptable to both the company and clients to maintain site credentials.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
- Excellent customer interaction skills are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools are required.
- A comprehensive understanding of technical issues related to the maintenance, repair, and installation of company equipment is necessary.
Physical Requirements:
- Job duties may involve working in confined spaces and clean room settings, often in awkward positions or elevated areas.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 35 pounds is required.
- Tasks may require bending, stooping, crawling, or climbing.
- Compliance with safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment may be necessary when dealing with hazardous conditions.
- Occasional travel to client facilities for training and service may be required.
