Medical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:
At ICONMA, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team in Richardson, TX. As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a vital role in representing our company to patients and ensuring the highest level of care and service.
Responsibilities:
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment.
- Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
- Maintain required records and documentation, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
