Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing laboratory analyses of laboratory specimens and distributing test requests to the requesting patient care unit, facility, or physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory analyses of laboratory specimens as requested
  • Distribute test requests to the requesting patient care unit, facility, or physician
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care for our patients
  • Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
  • Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
  • MLT(ASCP) or equivalent; MT(AMT); US Army Diploma (MLT)
