At SMRT, we're seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering group, you'll collaborate with experts across architecture, structural, electrical, site, and interiors to shape innovative solutions from start to finish.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
Function as Engineer of Record for mechanical scope
Develop schematic level information and document project work in accordance with codes, SMRT, and industry standards
Supervise quality and efficient production of contract documents
Perform modeling and specifications and respond to contractor submittals and RFIs
Visit project sites for existing conditions assessments, construction progress observation, and project closeout
Coordinate and communicate project workloads with discipline leaders and other members of the mechanical group
Coordinate work with other in-house disciplines as applicable
Work under supervision of discipline leaders
May function as a Project Manager depending on experience
