At CarMax, we're seeking a sales consultant to join our team. This role involves assisting customers in finding the right vehicle for their needs and providing excellent customer service.
About the RoleWe pay our new sales consultants a competitive wage during training and for the first 640 hours of selling, after which commissions become the primary source of income. As a sales consultant, you'll work as part of a high-energy team to meet goals and receive all the necessary support for success.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Assistance: Utilize your knowledge of our inventory to help customers find a suitable vehicle, guiding them through every step of the process from sale or appraisal to test drives and financing applications.
- Documentation and Records: Ensure smooth transactions by completing all relevant records and documentation.
To succeed in this role, you should have sales and customer service experience, preferably in retail. Additionally, good listening skills, a strong customer focus, and high self-motivation are essential.
