Job DescriptionWe are seeking highly motivated sales consultants who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a sales consultant at CarMax, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car-buying process, from initial consultation to final sale. Your goal will be to understand the customer's needs and preferences, and match them with the perfect vehicle.
You will use your knowledge of our inventory to assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs, guide them every step of the way, from sale or appraisal to test drives and arranging financing applications, and complete all relevant records and documentation to ensure smooth transactions for our customers.
We pay our new sales consultants a competitive wage while training and through the first 640 hours of selling, after which commissions become the primary base of pay. This is a high-energy sales environment where you will work as a team to meet goals and we'll give you everything you need to be successful.
SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and performance. With commissions, your earning potential can reach up to $100,000 or more per year.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Sales and customer service experience, preferably in retail
- Good listening skills and a strong customer focus
- A high level of self-motivation
