The editorial division at Game Rant is in search of a dedicated MCU News/Features Writer to create engaging feature articles for our TV/Movie section.
We seek an individual with a deep understanding and passion for various MCU films and television series, along with a comprehensive awareness of the film and television landscape. The ideal candidate should consistently monitor news related to both current and forthcoming MCU projects and be available during weekends and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing coverage of topics related to MCU films and television.
- Generating news and feature ideas based on the needs of the site.
- Editing and publishing articles while adhering to SEO best practices (approximately 75+ articles monthly).
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy in spelling, grammar, image quality, fact-checking, and sourcing.
- Utilizing Emaki for article submissions (training will be provided).
- Conducting original research and citing primary sources whenever possible.
- Writing in a neutral tone, avoiding first-person perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in professional writing.
- Extensive knowledge of MCU film and television history and culture.
- Strong command of the English language with the ability to convey complex ideas to a broad audience.
