UX Content Strategist

Position Overview:
As a UX Writer and Content Designer at Passes, you will play a pivotal role in crafting clear, user-centered content while ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and seamless user experiences across the platform. You will contribute to the design and improvement of product interfaces, content models, and ensure that all in-product language aligns with our brand voice and strategy. Your work will focus on various elements, from onboarding flows to error messages, notifications, and product naming, and you will be responsible for all UX copywriting, including help and support content, help desk tickets, and writing across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive, meeting accessibility standards and providing a seamless experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
- Conduct audits and establish governance for content consistency, accuracy, and alignment with Passes' voice and tone across all user touchpoints.
- Structure and model content for scalability across the platform. Conduct regular content testing to improve user interaction and understanding.
- Design compelling and clear content for key conversion points such as sign-ups, trials, purchases, and other transaction flows.
- Help map out content ecosystems, understanding how different content types interact within Passes and how users engage with the product across various touchpoints.
- Write clear, concise, and user-friendly form instructions, error messages, and empty state content to guide users effectively.
- Ensure all content reflects inclusive language and supports diverse user groups.
- Collaborate on structuring information architecture and navigation systems to improve discoverability and usability for users.
- Ensure all content is optimized for international users by partnering with the localization team.
- Write helpful, non-intrusive content for notifications, tooltips, banners, and alerts that guide users without overwhelming them.
- Create onboarding content that helps users get started with Passes effortlessly, ensuring a smooth transition into the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product or feature names that align with brand strategy and user expectations.
- Develop and maintain voice and tone guidelines to ensure consistency across all communications on the platform.
- Ensure search and filtering content helps users find what they need easily and quickly.
- Contribute to and maintain style guides, ensuring consistent terminology and voice across all user interfaces and marketing content.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing or content design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work in information architecture, content modeling, and design systems.
- Experience simplifying complex information and presenting it in user-friendly formats.
- Experience working with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
- Experience working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, and product managers.
