About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in the Northeast region of the US. As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing engineering site-development projects for our municipal and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of site plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permit applications for projects
  • Develop land development plans and attend municipal meetings
  • Design site grading, building layouts, access road design, and stormwater management systems for various sites
  • Navigate local, county, and state regulations and permitting requirements
  • Provide mentorship and development advice to junior-level staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
  • 4-8 years of project experience in land development; experience in multiple states a plus
  • Familiarity with engineering modeling software, including HydroCAD, SewerGEMS, and HEC-RAS
  • Knowledge of engineering drafting software by Autodesk (Civil 3D) and ability to work closely with CAD professionals
  • Experience with presentations at zoning hearings and other public meetings
