Job Title: Loan Processor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Processor to facilitate the mortgage loan process by gathering, verifying, and preparing documentation for underwriting and closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review loan applications and gather all necessary documentation from borrowers, loan officers, and third-party sources.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, including income, assets, employment, and credit information.
  • Input loan data into the loan origination system accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval.
  • Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather additional information as needed.
  • Monitor loan processing timelines and proactively address any potential delays or issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the closing team to coordinate the loan closing process.
  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and closing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with borrowers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan origination software and related technologies is a plus.
